NSP:This scholarship program is open to students from six minority communities in India: Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, and Parsi. To be eligible, students must meet the academic and financial requirements set by the program.

Merit is calculated based on a student’s academic performance in their previous exams. The weight given to merit can vary depending on the scholarship scheme. For example, under the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minorities, merit is given a weight of 75%.

Income is calculated based on the total annual income of the student’s family. The weight given to income can also vary depending on the scholarship scheme. For example, under the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minorities, income is given a weight of 25%.
Scholarship payments for the NSP MOMA Scholarship are made directly to students’ bank accounts through the Aadhaar-based payment system. Payments are made in two installments:
- The first installment is paid at the beginning of the academic year.
- After that 2nd will be credited
In order to receive the scholarship, students must ensure that their Aadhaar number is linked to their bank account. If the Aadhaar number is not linked to the bank account, the scholarship payment will not be processed.
The amount of a scholarship can vary depending on the specific scholarship scheme and the student’s level of education. For example, under the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minorities, undergraduate students receive a scholarship of ₹10,000 per year, while postgraduate students receive a scholarship of ₹20,000 per year.
